Sundren Client not installing on Vista

Hi All,

I'm experiencing some techncal problems. I have Mask of the Betrayer and have downloaded and installed the Sundren client software using the Sundren Updater, but when I look in my Programs menu I can't see the Sundren Client, and I don't seem to be able to connect to the Sundren Servers.

Please advise.

Maybe I misread your question, but are you looking for a special software to connect you to Sundren? Cause there is none, and you don't need that - you simply launch NWN2 (after having successfully run the Sundren updater), then select Multiplayer, and log on there with your NWN/Bioware account. Then either use direct connect as Lane suggested, or find Sundren in the Server List.

Hey I had problems when I first started playing. Hopefully this little checklist will help:

1) Register with the Sundren forums (obviously you've done this)

2) Download and install the necessary programs (.net framework and windows installer)

3) Update Sundren files using the stand-alone client (Takes a while on the first run)

4) Start up NWN2 using the usual game.exe icon

5) Start up multiplayer (Hopefully you've already registered for an online account with Obsidian)

6) Either connect to Sundren by going on the gamespy section and selecting from the list (not personally recommended by me I prefer the direct connect) Or doing a direct connect using the server IP

7) Enjoy the game
