Main Plot?

Hello there. I usually don't post at the forums, but I am always reading it, and I have been playing at Sundren for some time (Alwyng is my character). In these next weeks, I will not be able to login, but I am still around.

But I am here because I would like to know if, in Sundren, there is some kind of main event happening. I played here for some weeks, and the first days were entertaining, since there were some good reasons to explore the goblins' cave, for example (investigating the plots of Bane and similar things)...

But, after some days, I started to find it difficult to keep my character connected to the world. I could hunt orcs, gnolls and goblins, and "keep my - the character's - studies of magic", but that doesn't seem like motivation enough. I concluded that what I am missing is a good story.

Maybe I am just unlucky and haven't had the opportunity to play in a event with an interesting and complex plot, but if that is the case, that is exactly why I am posting this topic: to ask if there is some kind of bigger (or main) plot in the server.

If not, you could take it as a suggestion.

And, by the way, I had opportunity to play with Phantom Lamb for some times, and while I enjoyed it, those were minor events (or, at least, it seemed to be).

Well, that is it. I hope to login more frequently after June.

There are a great many significant plot archs in progress right now. I won't divulge them here, but you could certainly make an IC post inquiring about events in Sundren and people might respond.

Post! Get involved! The more you RP, in-game and out of game, the more likely you are to be roped into plots.

We also reward people who post well on the forums.

There is indeed all sorts of stuff going on. Check the rumour threads and peoples' RP posts. Take some initiative to get involved (joining a faction is one good way to do this, but not the only one) and the rewards will doubtless follow!

It does. Again, that's to be found out IC. All of you are aware of it, even if you haven't put the pieces together.

Does anybody else see that Leaving Hope is like..... The Oracle of Sundren.... I just love it sometimes.

Seriously though, I am truly enjoying my time here at Sundren, they have a finely crafted server here.

OOC Tip: Most people underestimate the power of asking! You'll be amazed with how much you find out by asking your local lawful character (bias), about 'pressing matters', or even better, 'How can I help?'

Also, Fallen Paladins? No-no.. Only myth. Then again, my Paladin eyes have been blinded by Machiavelli's overwhelming evil presence for far too long.
