Server Mini Rollback

When the server came back I suffered a rollback of the Journal who enables me to do again the goblin chieftain quest, if it's possible to solve it, fine.
Anyway Im not going to do again, because I already have the XP and doing it again may be considered exploiting.

Honesty isn't always the best choice.

A friend of mine decided to be honest, so when his university fees didn't appear, he asked them what had happened. They told him they thought he'd already paid. They double clicked last time he made his three-part payment and wouldn't have known otherwise, but he decided to be honest, so he said he hadn't paid. His bank balance is now more than one thousand pounds down for his trouble.

Now, if that were me I'd feel gutted. I get upset when I lose out on a couple of quid, let alone a thousand. Granted, I'd feel better for knowing it's going toward something worthwhile and not toward some bastard's luxury yacht, but we all have a subconscious urge to protect our own interests above those of others and I'm no exception.

It's not really that, it's more that I'd feel gutted that I went to the trouble and lost out because of it. At least some token gesture of thanks for being honest would be nice, but you don't get that from universities, governments or corporations. You get a thankyou from the people who consider ten pounds a lot to lose on a whim and rely on every little bit to live.

And don't get me wrong, I'd never actively go out of my way to steal or defraud, but if the opportunity arose and all I had to do was sit back and not say anything, of course I'd take the money. I mean, look at it this way:

Option 1:
Sit back, relax, keep over £1,000.

Option 2:
Go 30ish miles to university, spend an awkward few minutes explaining your situation, lose over £1,000, go home.

Are you honestly telling me you'd rather take the second option? If so, I'm young, poor and a full-time student and I could really use the money, so I'm sure you could find it in your paladinly selfless heart to send some my way :P

Option 1: Keep the £1000 feeling very guilty and not wanting to spend it.
Option 2: Be honest, brave and don't lie. Show others their mistakes.

I'd still choose option 1. I don't readily spend my money anyway, unless it's absolutely necessary. As for guilt, well, I don't think I'd feel that guilty. Anyway, it's their mistake and if anything does come of it I'm not going to be held responsible.

Not much time ago here on Argentina, a cab driver found in his cab a suitcase with U$S 150.000 and brought back to the owner, and the other guy give him a reward of $5.

In our currency U$S 1 means 3 Pesos (National currency), so If you convert the $5 to dollars, he received a reward of U$S 1,66.

For some people honesty is worth more than money or any other sort of reward. That is not meant to sound sarcastic though. Many people consider me a good guy who walks with the Lord however... I would have been TEMPTED to keep the money; very tempted; very VERY tempted. I mean... who could not use 1000 bucks? (or pounds in this case)
