  • Shapeshifting

Alright, so what's the deal? When someone shapeshifts, through spell or ability, to animal, monster, plant, elemental, or anything beyond or in between, what happens to the character? Does their body twist and contort in a painful manner, breaking their bones and tearing their skin in some gruesome display of supernatural contortion? Or is the IG visual accurate, meaning that there is a flash of light and the form changes instantly?

In Karthus' case I'm certain it's an excrucitatingly painful experience involving his bones being ground to dust and his flesh becoming a ruined mass of meaty goo before reforming into that obese flying platypus.
    I got one leg missin'
    How do I get around?

      "obese flying platypus"

Sounds dangerous. A real calamity from the skies and such...

"*quack, or whatever sound a platypus makes.*"
"What was that? *shadow looming overhead.*"
"*Whistling followed by an earth-shaking thud.*"

Its a real easy thought. Pretend your a transformer. It don't hurt, your body doesn't get crazy.. you just kinda rearrange yourself (and grow hair in all the appropriate places)

lol, you aren't serious, are you?

I wanna know how it officially is supposed to work. I mean, should I RP being physically strained or uncomfortable after a shift? Should I be in utter pain? Should I just be like "SHAZAM!~" and be back in normal form in a split second with a smile?

I already told you. But that's a special Kang-only rule. For everyone else it's more like the transformer thing

              You know what? Fine.

I actually wanted to RP being in pain anyways, and having Shapeshifting be a burden.

I think you should RP the inability to function after you shift....say for perhaps 1-3 hours. After which time you should just sit on the ground and gurgle incoherently for 45 minutes or so
