The new crafting items

With the new crafting things comes some newb questions

I've managed to obtain some of the Zalatar Planks, and in my reading on the net it showed you could make a light shield from the planks, but when I put in 2 planks and the mold and smith it the message says its an invalid recipe. I'm assuming some recipes have yet to be activated in sundren?

Or is it just a silly goof on my part? I have the required armor crafting skill to forge the shield, and tried all variations of amounts of planks (just out of flustration). The mold says 2 metal ingots, but on the net I've found them saying you can make light/tower shields from the wood. Am I just doing something wrong?

A quick warning for all of you out there with your NWN2 recipe files itching to start making stuff. You wasted a download. Saulus is rewriting recipes from the ground up. You MIGHT find some of them the same, but I guarantee the majority of your recipes are going to be wrong. *winks* and yes we have discussed how best to reveal the recipes to the population.

I was wandering about all the stuff dropping of late. I wish I had huge strength to store up the crafting items for later use cause I know soon as I sell an item iwil be regretting it.

Just store all items you can't carry in your persistent personal storage. They can be found in the rooms at all the inns.

This probably isn't the place for this. But, does anyone else have problems with chests emptying at server reset/crash? I've hoarded up some crafting material, but can't store it
