In general, I don't think there is much reason to even suspect a druid when you see an animal. They know the animals inside and out and can certainly pretend to be one. If they start following you for a while, then maybe. But still, can you tell one sparrow from another? I can't, so I don't imagine that figuring out that a bird is following me is going to be that easy.

Druids in a natural environment are basically supposed to be able to be undetectable, without someone else using magic to find them. With PNP spells, they can turn into rocks or trees or merge with trees or rocks, and obviously they have a much greater variety of wildshaping. They don't leave tracks unless they want to and can move through brush completely uninhibited. So remember that, if you're in the wild, you're in a place where a druid is supposed to be the most powerful person around, by far. NWN2 doesn't represent druids that well at all in that respect.

On the same token I'd like to say that you should expect odd reactions if you are in the form of an animal and actually ARE acting odd. Flying around unseen is fine and all, but threatening people as a chicken..
