I've been trying to do some searching on how appraise skill works, and it seems as though its a 30% discount/increase with a roll check in either direction.
So I'm curious what level of an appraise skill has been known to cause a favorable check? I was wanting to make a little hafling that was more haggler than battler, and I did make him. He's only lvl 3 atm, but he has approx 9 appraise and he doesn't have any price variation at the merchants I tested. I know 9 isn't a ton, but I would have thought it was better than 0, and I suppose it is as for a die roll, but what kind of appraise skill do the characters of Sundren have to roll against? I'd guess its not any different than in the campaign game, but I never made a character with high appraise in game before to compare, so I don't know
.
Sorry if this has already been discussed, I did some searches on appraise and skills, and etc but came up empty, so hopefully its a new thread.
Thanks all.
P.S. Is there anyone who has had enough appraise to win the rolls and see the price decrease?
