Yeah, see, like, I'm not going to tell you that I posted a new NPC bio. You're gonna have to go look for it.

Although new additions the Wiki are not openly declared, it should be noted that custom content is noted accrodingly. You'll see this in the Classes/PRC section, which labels the Dev's unique work as, in fact, being unique to Sundren.

If it matters to anyone, I have added my three characters to the Wiki page, two of which are updated and ready:

          http://www.sundren.org/wiki/index.ph...na_Whisperwood

The sections on cities & towns and places of interest could use some love if anyone feels so inclined.

-Fixed a broken link to the Alignments
-Made Sean's posts not so ugly

LH, what exactly do you want done with those two areas of the Wiki?

I think some places are missing from the places of interest. The Sundren City page is completely unfinished. For example, say you're new to Sundren and you want to know where to buy armor. Where do you go? It would be great to list the different merchants.

I'd also like to add screen shots.

I agree with your idea, though your example blows There's an auto quest that fires when you log in that tells you exactly where to go for armor, weapons, and equipment.

Tonight I finished adding all of the custom content spells from the Sundren content pack to the spells tab under the 'Create your Character' section. I'll be working on the feats tab next.

I'd appreciate some feedback, to see what people think of the format, etc.

                    Thanks.

                      *chokes* New Samurai base class?
Better put a restriction on these babies, otherwise we'll get wannabes running everywhere...

Wouldn't putting a restriction on a base class defeat the purpose of it being a base class?

Anyways.. a samurai is like a paladin.. if they lose their lawful alignment or break an oath.. the DM's can and will strip them.. they lose all their abilities which are charisma based (basicly everything but TWF is taken away)

I doubt we're gonna have much of a problem as the Samurai is a weak version of a fighter till mid teens in levels, and you can be sure only a handful of people will want to RP a samurai up to that level. (Read: Fighter Class is better in all aspects till later levels)

                          Sweeeeeeeeeeet. *starts plotting next character*
How realistic are we talking about here? In real life, the samurai were just a social class, and in some cases any old soldier is a samurai. In any case, they certainly were not "implacable when matters of honor and justice are concerned", more expected to be unfallingly loyal to their Lord. Some of them were real arseholes besides. Under the Tokugawa shogunate, they were allowed to kill peasents as they pleased, which falls pretty much straight into CE... so I guess what I'm asking is are we expected to play samurai as a profession, or samurai as a way of life? The way I see it, someone can be professionally a samurai (and thus get the accompanying powers), but not be one in philosophy (except loyalty), unlike Paladins who are supposed to be the definition of Good.

I realize that it's a stupid question on some levels (OMG NWN isn't real life!!!11) but I just want to make it clear before I start planning. IMHO, characters that toy with stereotypes are more interesting than stereotypes.

The samurai in Sundren Follows the rules imposed in the Complete Warrior Manual.

You WILL have a lord (Read: Lord, Not GOD).
At higher levels you might be the LORD.
You will follow the commands of your lord or you lose all cha based class feats of the Samurai and become fallen.
You will act lawfully in all things.

So if your lord tells you to kill the peasents.. you will do it, though you may leave his service afterwards.. you will follow his command.

Outside of the following commands and Laws.. you can be an ass or you can be a saint. That parts up to you.

Basicly your the paladin without a consience to guide you in such matters. You do what your told. Now do you see why this class is not an easy RP?

                              Okay. Fair enough.

So, anyone want to volunteer to be my Lord?

Do you have to ask? Sheesh.
