No worries. Thanks for letting me know.

The power of the wiki is that it keeps versions, so we can rollback if necessary. We'll chalk this one up to a learning experience.

Create a new page, and stop linking to the old one. Let me know when you're done, and I'll delete the old one. Make sure you tell me which is old, and which is new.

While I like this idea.. but why does your entire background put up in there have to be publically known IC?

That kind of ruins it for me because Yashia doesn't talk much of her past to anyone bar a few exceptions. It's simply not widely known, meaning I can't post much of significance except perhaps the things that happened in and around Sundren itself... while I'd love the possibility of some of her past to be worked with in game

Or do I have the option to separately put in a summary of things that is known about her, and a full detail background which is only known IC to those who were told about it by Yashia herself?

If you want to write for the wiki, please contact me. There is a lot that needs to be added, updated, and rewritten.

But they may be the most interesting bits to latch onto. Could we optionally add OOC disclaimers?

It's a good idea, I mean, in my case Annie Hellsword also existed in another PW of NWN1 and retired her from there this year (2 years of RP). ICly the people knows what I post on the Wiki.

You must consider to stay alert and update frequently the Wiki of your character when the characters "Unlock" (Like a console game) part of your past.

Of course not, If the player wants to reveal his/her character information it's his/her own responsibility.
What Im saying works to the both sides, if ICly some character knows about another and keeps the secret, that's not going to the Wiki. But, If on an event or RP that character reveals information to a significant NPC (Like Sundren Guards, Exigo Guards, Steward, etc.) and that NPC makes public the information, the Wiki must be updated because that part of the history it's now known for everybody

Only post what you feel comfortable posting, and what is or could be common IC knowledge to the world. If you've told more than one person, it's probably not a secret. How much, and what, you post is up to you. Update when you think it is relevant. And, above all, have fun with it!

We will be posting information about NPCs. Trust me when I say that lots of information won't be posted on them because it's not common IC knowledge. For example, perhaps Balthasar is really the leader of Eboncoin Pact; that juicy tidbit won't be in the wiki, unless some crazy DM lets the secret slip to the population.

Do NOT post OOC information. Anything listed on the character bio is considered fair game.

This is almost as bad as the time you revealed that the Keeper's illegitimate son is Caspar, who is actually a Banite spy, encouraged by their mother Vani the Exigo merchant/succubus. Fortunately, people don't know he's secretly a quarter dragon..

Then again, that's nothing compared to when I slipped up and revealed that Sundren is actually not in Faerun--it's actually REAL. We lost some players when they learned out this is like Ender's Game and their avatars are actually somewhere, doing what they're doing. It'd freak me out too if I did what they did with those goats...
