I saw one the other day, and I admit to my confusion. I didn't know there were any players permitted to play a Drow as of yet, as I thought it was to be awarded only to the winner of RPOTM, which hasn't been announced as far as I'm aware. It was also a level three, I think, and I would therefore assume it isn't an old school player returning with their equally old school character.

This isn't intended to rat out someone, or say that I think that this is a bad thing... I'm just confused.

No, it wasn't a DM. The player said he had DM permission though, and he wasn't RP'ing like an idiot or anything. I'm just confused about the whole thing, and why the permission was given, and on what grounds, considering I had been put under the impression it was impossible unless through winning the RPOTM.
