    Server UPS

    Some of you may have noticed the server went out last night. I've still been saving for the SSD drive but I think the most sound purchase right now would be a UPS which I've been saving for.

    I had a brownout here last night and because there was no redundant power system the server shutdown and stayed off for several hours until the morning. The sooner I have the money to purchase a UPS the sooner I can avoid this problem altogether.

      Yes, while everyone is always generous and the donations really help, I've had to use some of them to keep up with other costs such as internet and other server hardware (DVD Drives, memory, etc). I really want to get a UPS so we don't ever have to worry about power failures and nothing short of an explosion in my basement or my ISP will stop the server from running.

      Keep in mind folks I'm a college student so that automatically makes me poor.

              As soon as I'm done fundraising for my own cause, which should really be a matter of days, or maybe a week or two, I'll donate with my pretty paypal account to Sundren.

              Then you're all obligated to take me more seriously.

                      I'm pumping this up to encourage people for donating.

                      I also have some good news, I was cheking my bank account and I realized that I will have some sapre money soon enough to donate again in a few days.
