First week back on Sundren

Greetings Sundarians!

I've returned to the DM staff after a fairly long hiatus caused by RL happenings. I've been away since early in this year, and I gotta say it's good to be back!

I've had a blast in this first week back, and I'd like to give a big shout out to all the players. You've all been awesome... seriously, I've been really impressed with the quality of peoples RP, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of it, and working with you all to enrich the environment of Sundren. In all seriousness, the quality of players and attitudes is greatly improved from when I was last here. Keep it up peeps!

For all of you who've been involved in my events, I'd just like to say that I enjoyed them at least as much as you did, and you have my thanks! For the people who haven't encountered me as yet, I look forward to messing with your PCs' lives and causing you hideous pain and suffering (er... I mean, running plots for you).

As for the Dev staff, nothing need be said. You guys are more awesome than I can even comprehend! Seriously, I don't understand the details of what you do even one tiny bit, but I see the results, and they're deeply impressive.

Er.. I'm an old player too Steaky! That's not what I meant anyways. Alot of peeps started turning up for a while, and DMing meant getting flooded with constant requests for items/re-leveling & also tells from players complaining for no good reason (I was drowning in this stuff for a while). It no longer seems that way though and I've actually been able to spend most of my time running events and stuff! Also, I would never dis' you Steak (actually, that's not true ).

I really wanna meet this Malaclypse online. I would think he is profoundly interesting, considering he seems to be the embodiment of Discordianism.

I mean, you freakin' plagarized every Discordian concept to make that character, didn't you!? Malacylpse the Younger? Writer of the Principa Discordia? Sounds like something that could be combined to create the name, oh, say, Malaclypse Discordia?

Not to mention your other references in your forum profile!

Hmmm, the only thing I really stole was the name. As a matter of fact, only a few aspects of his personality were loosely based on Discordianism. Actually, the character concept wasn't really derivative of anything even if the name was. However, he was pretty close to being some sort of embodiment of chaos much of the time, so the name worked well enough. Anyway, you can't meet him online, bad stuff happened to him (like getting ganked and disappeared) after he went on a campaign of terrorism and assassination against the Red Wizards . Though, like Wangxiuming said, he might crop up again.

Oh yeah... quit taking digs at me anyways Kang. I still think that veganism is making you unusually testy!

That very same 'goo' was actually the acid-melted remains of a dismembered psychotic-diseased farmer. As for how a puddle of such goo came to be gradually getting washed away by the pouring rain in the middle of the Exigo camp... you can form your own theories, 'cos I ain't tellin'
