1.12 Patch - Are you crashing less?

I am curious to know how many people have seen faster loading times on transitions, and if there has been crashing... if so where, and how much.

It seems from the server side of things, the module loads far, far quicker than it did before. Don't expect to see 10 minutes of downtime after a crash anymore. More like several minutes.

I talked to a few guys in game and the response seems slugish now, I click to move and after a second or two my guy will start moving. Load times seem to hang a little longer, but if it will help negate the crashes thats ok.

It's most likely again tied to a user with a bad connection. Even with 30 people on the server it uses a piddly amount of my overall connection, and the server is more than capable of handling the load. It's just a client or two with a poor connection that is slowing down everything for other players.

I could not answer yes or no, but to say that load times seem like they may be a tad bit faster on my end, and crashes I haven't really noticed. I don't crash very often, normally just when the server does, or on the odd occasion where my internet connection decides it wants to interrupt me for a few minutes to restart it . So for me, it's a neutral.

I'm not seeing any noticable change in speed, though I believe you when you say there is. I still crash on large areas everyonce in a while and theres still a good 1/2 second lag on all my actions. I've grown used to it.

It really does seem more laggy for alot of us. Any ideas?

Not sure, everything is fine on the server end, it's possible my ISP might be on the fritz (though unlikely as my bandwidth seems fine). It's most likely someone playing with a dialup connection, or just bad connectivity near a hub between us.

I really think it's someone dragging the rest of the server down.

Yes Saulus load times have been improved on my end by 50%, however I have FiOS and a beefy rig of pure gaming joy, however I am lagging in game lately. So I really think the blame is on someones connection *cough56kcough*

Also the database seemed to not load just now in the most recent re-boot. Sundren commands were not working and character information went back to zero. Will check again in a few minutes to see if the data base starts itself back up.

Data base problem has been fixed. It works fine now.

Getting some really bad lag right around now, then I crashed in transition.

I'm not crashing anymore but it takes a LONG time to zone now.

I'm not sure what the problem would be.
