How do I join a Sundren factioN?

I just read that there are factions, and was wondering how would I go about joining them?

You know, I've read a whole lot of the faq's and forum stuff, rules, laws, lore, etc. but I haven't actually seen how to join one either and I've wanted to ask the same question for awhile.

I believe you can petition a DM to join. I 'think' the way it will be in the future is more automated when the quest system goes live.

Oh so I just ask the DM in game and then they work it out from there?

Depends which DM your asking - Only some are allowed to let people into guilds and factions.

And not ALL factions are currently joinable, so I believe.
