It's a silly graphical bug with the pilings - If to much of a placable is submerged then it looses its reflection/refraction in the water and just clips to the plane, resulting in the 'floating' appearance you can see on the pier.

Just had a proper look at the map, tis rather spiffy. You've got a good way with placables.

well its a dock on pilings. Its.. supposed to be. The trouble is placeables become invisable under water so you can't see the supports going to the bottom. They just vanish at the water's surface.

I would like to add my appreciation, checked it out today and great map! The pier is kinda floating above the water though...maybe that's just my crappy graphic settings though.

Hear ye Hear ye, collecting all unwanted and or discarded would-be street urchins for proper dark sacrifices to fuel the Mapping God Laurk's magnificence! Seriously, excellent work Laurk!
Thank you so much Mournas and everyone. It always makes the hours I soak into the toolset worth every moment to hear feedback like that! Im glad you like it, and I hope there will be many more like it in the future!

Agreed with wangxuming and gamestarmike; Much appreciation to Atmosphere for DMing a cadre of us 'demigods', in a relatively mundane and question-provoking encounter.
Also, Yay for more usefulness of craft skills in events! James needs to find out who owned the boat and make a new one for them, or make certain they file an insurance claim. Or did the captain own it? I don't think he needs a replacement in that case.

    I'm pretty sure those weren't pirates. . .
Did anyone see skulls and crossbones other than the animated skeletons?

More kudos for all those involved in the event! I lol'd quite a few times in real life.

I know this is a SUPER LATE Kudo's, but this one's for Grinning Death ... I am reminiscing over picture perfect moments on auto fail save rolls. Like that one event in that one crypt ... and Andelain was like "Just because I can activate these runes, doesn't mean I actually know what I am doing ..." *Rolls a 1 vs DC 25 FoD Rune Trap and dies* ... I'm still laughing over that ... good times!

I thought the very same thing! I was amazed that I could walk up to the top of the ruined tower, and I loved the detail in the lake like the small islands I could see in the distance. This zone is a work of art.
