As I said I only have a problem with an OOCly created group of disposable characters made to harass people.

Now, what you're describing here is closer to a rogue rather than a bandit, in which case we actually have a joinable faction for those types. Now would be a good time to start fleshing them out, too.

I really like the idea of disguises that hide your name. That would really open up rogues in RP. Unfortunately, you can't always count on people to role play well...sometimes even good role players will slip here and there.

Also- It would be nice to have a ability or device, that would make the name of the person "Unknown", like if they were wearing a Mask.

As for the idea of a group of bandits, you could probably role play it out, but youd have to act like a proper group of bandits, not the computer controlled bandits we are all used to slaughtering. Hostage situations might provide for interesting circumstances. But you would have to be careful about PvP and killing people...not only because you might anger DM's, but your group of bandits might meet a rounded up posse of higher level characters, post-haste.

Is all of this due to the lack DMs currently? If it is, hold on they will be coming back and then you'll have plenty of content involved. If you decide to go with this then at least inform Echelon in a PM of what you are doing (not like he cares :P). Just so the staff can be prepared to help in either supporting your endeavor or damage control. XD
