A wipe generally means that your character including XP, Gold, Items, Appearance, etc. is completely deleted. That also means that you are generally not meant to play the same character again because of issues with game logic.

However, it is completely up to a dev team to do just partial wipes like XP, Gold, Items only which is a common method to "reset" unbalanced game economy during a beta phase. RP Servers have the problem that you can't just simply start over with the same characters then for logic issues.

Dunno which way Sundren took in the past wipes though.

The last wipe was a total vault wipe, and also a reset on what had happened previously (none of the events of the previous Sundren are now considered to have taken place). Quite a few people, including myself, did actually play the same characters (and some still are) due to the fact that there were no continuity issues involved in doing so (and there are still characters around on the server that have been on here for a looonnnggg time).

Anyways, that's just to clarify what went down last time.

Tass was of course around, me and Ithil officially started the day after the first wipe. I was around before then but I really dont like wipes and the date was already set for that one so just waited till it was done. Of course she had a massive memory lapse from that times...

Their has been two wipes in Sundren so far, the First one was in Febuary of 2007.
