Two wipes, acutally. One was like, a week after open beta because of all the retarded items floating around *COUGH COUGH* +5 full plate..

I think it was more like a month or two after it went public, the first wipe. There was no applications at first, drow, tieflings, whatever, were free to take. I think the applications started after the first wipe. Most everyone just remade their characters though.

Very few of those old faces around, at least that I remember. I remember when Myrddin was trying to woo some drow in his weird speak.
