    New Server Status Update

    So, much to my dismay I would have had the server parts today, but someone over at Tigerdirect screwed up, and UPS wanted to charge me 138 bucks in brokerage fees.

    After a "nice" little chat on the phone I now have to wait another day or so for them to fix all this paperwork.

    Regardless it will take me some time to build it and setup the operating system, etc etc... and I also still have to buy a power supply and upgrade my residential internet here to support the load.... however it looks like the new server is coming closer on the horizon, and should be up and running before the end of this month.

    I've left the donation goal because likely I might buy more memory for it or possibly a ramdrive depending on how things go.

    In short: good work pulling together for the server guys!

            As much as im in a really bad mood right now, thats funny..

            Good work on the server Saulus, if you need any sticky-tape for putting it together I have plenty.

              This is why I don't order anything Tigerdirect any more. They've never paid me their supposed rebates and their customer service is subpar at best. Newegg customer service on the other hand refunded my case+psu when the psu fried and didn't even want me to ship the cast back. I then used the refund to buy a better PSU
