Update Questions

So ... after tonight's update I started experiencing a strange bug where everytime I tried to start nwn2, it'd load, check the cd, and then I'd hit a black screen that wouldn't go away. None of the company logos or main menu would pop up - I'm sitting here right now looking at a completely black screen with my regular white mouse pointer in the middle.

Has this happened to anybody before?

Also, I was wondering if there was an official ruling on how to treat characters that have lost levels due to the rebalance? Should we act as if they never had those levels? Or did somebody take them (and their corresponding spells and abilities) away?

As a mild thread derail which ought to be easily brought back on track; what were the changes made to the server last night? There's nothing about them in the updates forum.

I think ... I don't know for sure because I still can't get on ... but I think characters who were above level 15 were set at 15, and the cutoff for experience from combat was also reduced to 15.
