Hey, this is fun!

- Leap Frogs parties [no]
- Knows the respawn times of encounters [no]
- Rushes to certain bosses when server reboots [no]
- Walks in a circle through dungeons [no]
- Says a party comment about something affecting his/her exp gains [yes]
- Parties with whatever race/creed/being will help him/her get that added exp [no]
- Gets to zone where a group of people are, and his/her first words is "Who is up for killing undead?!" like your going to a house party and not facing possible death. [I think so]
- Doesn't know jack about the lore of the server because can't be bothered to read anything about the lore on the forums or isn't ever in DM events [sort of]

So the question is, is it bad RP to be nice to a Drow? NOPE!

Whilst that is true, a lot of people at that event had no prior knowledge of the Drow and were very quickly touchy feely with a race whose very appearance is supposed to strike fear into the heart of the average joe.

I'm of the opinion people don't know how to gray scale racism. It's like either they want to kill something or they want to hug it. Why can't people just do what most people do when they're racists and just dislike something and show that dislike non-violently. It'd probably win more people over to your side of the fence.

At some point people have to be realistic. Eilistraeeans are real, and let's read an excerp...

They then go wandering on the surface world, trusting to their music, kind ways, and sword skills to keep from being slain on sight. They go where they are strangers, making an effort to seek out elven communities, and bring them game, succor, and helping hands. They try to learn new songs, music, and sword ways, and do not come to preach their faith or make a mark for themselves.

Obviously people have to be accepting for that to work or the church would be pretty much destroyed.

The Harpers have begun secretly supporting the church of the Dark Maiden and work toward the day when it is fully accepted throughout Faer?n.

Heh this has me puzzled as well. Strange event where out of about 20 people I was the only one speaking out against a Drow. A bit of head scratching ensued.

Also, farmi- routine patrols of the viridale helps... Val has loadsa 'low-level' friends from that - I like to think I make a welcome addition to the random parties I force myself upon, even if I do drain all of their xp, lol.
