    Charisma Items

    Does anyone know if there are any items on the server with a charisma bonus of more than 1? I know there's a set of robes that can be bought in aquor that give a +2 bonus, but they've got a nasty AC penalty that renders them unusable as I see it. Something like a nymph's cloak would be extremely useful, and would mean sam could stop wearing that stupid noble's hat...

      There's some stuff out there, and possibly more stuff coming in in the future.


      That being said, those robes are quite fine. The AC penalty isn't too much of a hit to be particularly noticeable unless you've skimped on defensive buffs. I used to wear them all the time for looks.

        Hm. You say that but I'm not sure myself. Sam tends to get into the thick of the fighting and I need every bit of AC I can get to stay alive really :\

          How much AC can you get with all of your buffs?

            22, 23 with a barkskin potion. I'm level 11. As it is I get hit most of the time anyway; a decrease in AC could mean I could end up facing a solid wall of damage, and I am not a tank.

              Hmm. That seems pretty low. I'd recommend stocking up on some more buffs next time you get a level, if you can. Big hitters are: Improved Mage Armor (+6), Spiderskin (up to +5), Shield (+4), Cat's Grace (amount = how high your Dex mod becomes after using it--people forget about this one a lot), and Shadow Shield. Then there's also of course all the other various buffs, like Stoneskins and such, They don't all entirely stack with each other, but can get you pretty high. Putting points into tumble is also a way to get some AC.
