    How can I find out if the server is down?

    Hi, new around here.

    I seem to have been disconnected and can't get back in to the server. I can see it listed, or what I believe is the server, under Roleplay, but can't connect via there or the tiamat server name on direct connect. Any clues?

    I got booted in a tough area with a party and am bound to die horribly if I enter back there.

    Well when you direct connect you always have to make sure you put the :5200 at the end of the address. Also we have a special IP autoban system that protects the server from flooding. If you are unable to connect after a crash or disconnect, it may take up to 5 minutes before your IP is unblocked.
    The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

      Never mind, had everything as required but it wouldn't let me in for some 15 minutes. However, after making a cuppa it now seems to. Must have fallen foul of the flood system.
