Armor questions

Just out of curiousity.. my character is a warpriest and I'm trying to get decent full (Heavy) armor.... I've noticed a few in game and don't quite understand some of the stats.

Of 3 I've found, which is the better? the noble champion armor, the Defenders armor or the coral?

I don't get the Divine /-5% or whatever stuff is on em.. so any help or suggestions would be appreciated :-)

Divine /-5% probably means all divine damage is reduced by 5%, that's what I think anyway.
Never heard of the Coral, and haven't tried the other 2 as none of my characters want/are in a position to buy enchanted full plate mail.

The coral Is new, so I dont know the stats...

Defender plate only grants you the AC bonus against Evil so has some draw backs...
So its great against the undead.. but rubbish against the Lizzardmen

The Noble is the best plate IMO.. atm but I understand new stuff are comming very shortly

Actually, many new heavy armors are coming with a wide array of powers and the price to go with them. I have uploaded them to Saulus, so it will probably come in with the next server-side module update.

What you were mentioning Wolf was a Divine Resistance 5/-, which means the first five points of divine-type damage you take on every attack are ignored when you wear that armor. Some divine spells like Flamestrike and some special weapons deal Divine damage.

The Coral Armor is a recent addition of mine, but due to some model limitations it cannot be worn by all races (in which case it will appear restricted and red to your character). It is a powerful armor but probably also one of the flashiest available on Sundren. A must for a Water Genasi warrior.

Just by the way, and it's purely in foresight of what may come in this thread, I'd prefer if nobody spoiled the precise powers and location of the various items around Sundren on these forums. It's one of those things that are fun to find for oneself. But I will gladly answer any question regarding an item stat someone does not understand.

that's cool... i know where each of those are.. but i won't be pointing them out. I understand about the base armor and ac and some of the things.. but the acid/-5 and /fire-5 and so forth always threw me.. never could quite figure out those things.
