  • People banned using overrides

Just to prove my point of how big this rampant issue of overrides is, here's a list of people who have been banned caught using them.

Do not risk getting banned, DO NOT USE OVERRIDES.

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

I hope this prevents many crashes (thou I know crasheds will always be).

So to your saying: "Do not use overrides!"
    I say: "Sir, Yes, Sir!"

This may be a horribly ignorant question - but I do use the voiceset override...is that something would cause an issue lag-wise? Or is it just some of these blatant cheat overrides?

Voice Set overrides might cause issues if you are adding voicesets. If you are using one that let's you pick from all the standard voicesets, then it's fine.

              holy overrides indeed.

Damn I was loving the blood spatter override, but I suppose I will get rid of it for the benefit of sundren.

You don't need any of them.

I had no idea they had overrides like that. Good riddance then.

Hmm...I just did an update using the client and lo and behold that mysterious armor rules 2da file I referred to in my earlier post was just added to my override directory. Considering it was added from the Sundren Client, I'm assuming it's legit. Can one of the DM team confirm that for me before I delete it again...

It's legit, and the only 2da Sundren uses.
"Men fear thought as they fear nothing else on earth -- more than ruin -- more even than death.... Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible, thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habit. Thought looks into the pit of hell and is not afraid. Thought is great and swift and free, the light of the world, and the chief glory of man."
