I'm thinking about making a Divination wizard (gasp!)

Its actually something I've wanted to do so badly in PnP. I want to make Mr. Know It All. (Loremaster was actually a class i wish they would have added in NWN2. Not much of a combat class though...)

Is there any way i can get extra languages like in Pnp?

'Like in PnP?' Yes and no.

A system will likely be coming in when you bump your static statistics up you get to choose a new language.

There's also language selection at the beginning.

But there's no skill to add more languages.
"Men fear thought as they fear nothing else on earth -- more than ruin -- more even than death.... Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible, thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habit. Thought looks into the pit of hell and is not afraid. Thought is great and swift and free, the light of the world, and the chief glory of man."

If you somehow make it so you have like a 40 in INT, you might be able to get them all.

I don't think it's possible to implement the PnP system into the current NWN2 world without some like developer support for that.

Given enough time I am sure that Sundren's Devs could do it.... they are wtf amazing at surprising us.

I thought maybe a DM could take the five points i currently have floating and give me new languages for them.

Languages are bugged. We aren't doing anything about that as we are redesigning a whole new system for it. Until then it's just "as-is" for DMFI languages right now.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Okay fair enough. Cant wait till its fixed up since i would like to have a character who can translate anything. (cept for those few very exclusive languages. She'll defintly do everything in her power to be able to have druid under her belt as well. )

It warms my heart to know it does help some people.

It didn't help me. It confused me. I feel as though I'm a worse person for ever reading that post.

Upon reading it a second time, it even made my bowel movements smaller for the rest of the week. How do I know that was a direct symtom of that perticular post?

                    Kangletons always know these things.

Can this also be considered my formal introduction? I'm new here. I'm also 5'10 and 140 pounds. Ask around.
