I have been wondering, does barkskin potion serve to (slightly) disguise someone? I mean, if their skin is carved with bark, it should be hard to discern who they are, right?

I'd say if you see someone you know and have never seen him before in barkskin you wouldn't know its him, since also the speech would be slightly altered I would believe... (barky lips not moving the same as normal). But if you have seen him before a couple of times with barkskin on, I think it should be no big problem....Mirsli Skindar

IMO Barkskin would disguise you somewhat, would certainly disguise skin colour, I wouldnt say it would change speech though- though it may be like talking after youve been to the dentist and had aneasthetic jabs in your gums "Whut do ya meam im dwibblim..?""Im a hero hunter, I hunt heroes...
