    Hello,

I'm new to the server and I couldn't be more enthralled. I've already said a few nice things, so I'll continue with a few questions:

    1. Is there a location where most characters congregate? My character has bumped into a few players while on, but I've seen as many as 30 - 40 people on at any given time, and seen naught but a few players. I was hoping to find a place where RP can begin with lots of different characters.

    2. Are there any Orders for monks? I've seen one under the guild forums, but have yet to find any actual monastaries. (This isn't such a bad thing, having to explore to find things like this help immersion.)

    3. Do the DM's ever act as Avatars of the deities mentioned in the Lore area? (ie: The blind man (Tyr), A giant spider woman (Lolth), etc)

    Thanks in advance,

    Eo

    1 - The Sundren Menu

2 - There are some things in the works for that (GodBeastX would be the one to ask) otherwise there is a Monk Monestary in Sestra.

3 - No, that would not ever happen.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Welcome, glad your enjoying the place.

In answer to your first question try using the Sundren tab and select the search for players option. That will give you a good idea of where people are. Failing that hang out around the Sharahan hill, the Viridale forest border or the Exigo trading camp. There are always people heading through those areas.

The Druid Glade has been getting a lot more traffic than usual as well...just sheath your weapon when you walk in. It's the polite thing to do.

I really don't get why people go to the druid glade. It's not exactly a place that screams "GODS YES ADVENTURERS, COME VIOLATE OUR SACRED SPACE WITH YOUR PETTY SQUABBLES!" :P

My second character has an alignment that, hum, shouldn't let him access the Druid's Glade. Is it normal that it still appears on my transition map? I have no IC reason to head there anyway, but out of curiosity am I set to hostile to the Glade's Guardians? Could some Banites go on a happy-go-lucky shopping spree in the Druid's Grove? >_>

Saulus removed the script that flagged the Druid Grove for only good/neutral druids, so that everyone could go there. Why? Well, only he can asnwer that. Originally, only non-evil druids could go there directly. Rangers could get there via the Ranger's Outpost, as the two 'factions' are technically aligned.

Aside from his usual attire, an intricate music box was the only thing in his possession.

Well he did mention I think that the Shroud shifts to protect the grove from threats of the moment, and it could be that Saulus decided to remove the restriction after seeing that we still have an army of paladins on the server (even if many are banite posers -cough HACK-)

My reasoning was simple, I wanted to restrict less areas from players and give people more places to explore. It is to be understood the grove is a friendly protected zone, if players decide otherwise while in this area then DM descretion is in effect.
