To be honest when Tamara first started getting lovey-dovey with Alyrian, it made me slightly uncomfortable. Not sure why, it just did. I don't regret it now at all, because their interaction has pretty much been the driving force behind Alyrian's development. His other relationships with other characters have pretty much taken a backseat. Which, I want to apologize for by the way, if Alyrian has ever seemed snubby. He doesn't mean to be, he's just too brooding and emo for his own good.

The thing is, if Alyrian and Tamara were just happy-golucky, lovey dovey, kisses and hugs all the time, it'd probably get really boring. For me, anyway. Actually I think Alyrian and Tamara maybe had one day of that before Alyrian went crazy. Happiness for extended periods just isn't that interesting to me. Wow, what a sad commentary on life.

I think in the end I'd like to see Tamara and Alyrian back together ... maybe right before he permadies.

... and yes, alyrian and tamara had one semi-date! Way back when ... ah, the good old days.

Meh. Relationships are a bit annoying IMO, sometimes the person just gets bored of the server or simply can't play and is focusing on Studies. Like, Zel had a relationship with Xandan wayyy back, but he hasnt been on for a while, i think the player is studying and stuff.


Other then that, My chars have had a fw people to flirt with,


I've seen a few other relationships, but they never last long.



Just be glad this isnt a server full of Drama: "But you said you loved me!" Blah blah blah.. I have seen that ^^

As someone said before, there were a lot of IC relationships in the previous incarnation of Sundren. I know. My character was involved in one of them.

Now, a warning to any who decide to pursue an IC relationship.

I hope to God you have a good sense of humor, because anytime you go somewhere and your character is alone with their S.O., you are setting yourself up for a DM to screw with you, regardless of what you are doing. Most will assume that A. male character + B. female character + C. alone away from other people = D. Cyborz.
Don't bother denying that you are cybering, they won't believe you, because it's more fun that way.

It can get quite amusing, assuming you can take a joke....or twenty.*stabs Luck.exe, Kasso, BrotherBoreas, etc.*

Well Ithil and Tass are married but she and I have played nwn together since nwn 1, the story of them involves them being married a while before they left home for adventure. They don't go off cybering, as others said they might rest together in the same bed but other than that the characters are left to their own devices without the players help. Last time I was alone with her Ithil ended up getting mud thrown at him, they are a happy couple but not all mushy and such. They are simply meant to be fun characters and not completely serious.

For the latter part, it's not entirely true. For the former, Raksha and a few other people can safely say that I have messed around with their precious relationship in an effort to either break them up or, simply, just break their minds. Like GBX, I don't like the concept of 'perfect' relationships where everyone is happy and have those bullshit chibi eyes, or whatever the hell they are: ^_^.

Now, as for the constant talk about cybering going on in here - we get it, we don't like it, and you're all going "oh, crap, we better repeatedly say how much we hate it and don't do it to ease our collective conscience." Or, at least, that's what I think considering how goddamned suspcious you're all acting. The topic is about love in Sundren, not hot, sweaty, e-sex in Sundren.

That's what happens in a relationship - sometimes. As long as it makes sense, and both parties are reasonable and conscent, who really gives a shit?

That's my personal opinion, though. As a member of the Staff, I do have to adhere to and enforce the rules of the server, which as stands is a 'Teen' rated game and 'Everyone' server.

Completely off topic, but still on topic - no one loves an emo drug-addict who has no ambition or desire to change their miserable lot in life. That accounts for half of the population, which may be why we don't have many IC relationships. :P

Just one of those things as mentioned, not for everyone. It can add certain character depth for some, and none ofr others. Our characters are people to, so they do have struggles. Somming in here with a mindset of "im going to avoid things that might give me stress or put my character into struggles", well just wont work. Been there, done that, and that the staff for being patient and teaching myself

Do agree a big reason there is so many FonF happenings is never seems to be males that step up to the plate so to speak. But hey, thats why Joan's now got potions of give me bigger boobs
