  • The History of X (need feedback)

Yesterday I posted the first in what should ideally be a series of "the history of" entries. I've sticked it for everyones convenience (until it is moved to the wiki or other site section where it will be better placed). What I need from you, the players, is to give me a general idea of which faction you all would like to learn about the most. I considered making this closed to the staff, but at the end of the day, both opinions should influence my decision. For those of you who are at a loss, you can look up the factions on the wiki page here. These are brief, but informative and there should eventually be one written for every faction.

EDIT: Please include any questions you might have regarding the faction.

I have to be honest, I wasn't expecting that.

I'd love for the lore of the Dark Advent to actually, finally, be pinned down, so a bit on them would be great.
Adama who was once called Adama Hrakness, sacred paw of Mielikki

Lihana Farrier, Paladin of Torm and noble dalliance

On Hold: Alandriel Ward, Actually a Vampire Groupie
Retired for Good: Tamryn Jorandur, Hano's Wife and Conflicted Soul

I agree on the Dark Advent, especially since most players at some point tend to come across them...it would be excellent to have a little more background.

I'm rather interested in the lizardmen, talk around town have it they used to inhabit a larger part of Sundren before humans moved in. (Specifically the area around Aquor?)

I'd be interested to hear of any long lost civilizations in the area, really.

Personally I wouldn't mind a history for the Exigo. I mean, they seem to be a major player, but we know almost nothing about them. Who sponsors them? Where they're from? I will be honest, a lot of the orginizations have been fairly well drawn out through DM events though writing down their histories is still good, the exigo seem to be a little left out for the power they apparently weild.

I'd love to learn more about the Eboncoin Pact, who are the known "faces" of the organisation, even if it's only knowledge gained in the harbor's stinking tavers, how to join it, etc.

Of course the Hands of Mundus also interest me a lot, but with the history of Sundren I already feel I know a lot about Mundus himself. Still, I'd at least like to know where their quarters are located, since they're not a guild of thieves and assassins, they ought to try to recruit talented spellcasters publicly.

We were waiting on the areas for the tower to be completed before recruiting people into it. However, poor Xeraph has a life unlike me, so he has to handle that first
