    Hmm, I think that's a great idea!
    I don't by any means suggest anyone should devote time to remodeling the trade system of NWN to make several kinds of coins, but how about a simple explanation like this:

    A "gold piece" is actually the least valuable coin, consisting of a tiny piece of gold surrounded by a solid ring of copper. That way coppers could be referred to as "gold pieces".

    Stags on the other hand are full gold coins, containing about a hundred times more gold.

    Maybe people would feel that this is a silly idea, but at least it would take no effort to implement (since there's no need to implement anything)

      I for one think that is a silly idea, purely because there is absolutely no need for it.

        My scale for Sundren is as follows:

        Small Meal = 5 stags
        Epicly Good Meal = 15 stags
        Sword = 100 stags
        +1 Sword = 1000 stags
        Full Plate = 2000 stags
        Raise Dead = 20,000 stags
        Ressurrection = 40,000 stags
        True Ressurrection = 200,000 stags
        Small House (For Adventurers) = 250,000 stags
        Mansion (For Adventurers) = 1,000,000+ stags

        That's my general scale. 1 stag is NOT more money than a commoner would see in his lifetime. I'd say commoners would likely be pain many stags a day for a work day.

        Sundren also has trade bars which represents multiple stags at even intervals, and also gems can replace the values of a stag for most merchants.

          In other words, having the stag be roughly equivalent in real value to a U.S. dollar? I think that makes a lot of sense.

          Quite frankly, for numerous reasons, the normal DnD economy DOES NOT ACTUALLY WORK THAT WAY. It can't. With the number of adventurers introducing gold into the economy, inflation is a given. As well, if adventuring really paid so much fantastically better than hoeing fields, there would be fewer people to hoe the fields, and the price of farm goods would go up until there was a point in someone doing it.

          Let's forget about the effects of "free" summoning spells on the economy, too, since that's just brain-breaking. ^_^

            First off, I'm sorry if this came off as a demand for change, it really was just a question.

            Problem solved, update the "Public Information" to reflect?
