Did anyone else get peeved with the OTT crazy monk that was online last nite?

Some people really take this Rp?ing to seriously, I mean I am not against people whom Rp and get into character, but to be spouting gibberish every two minuets is just Spam. I wouldn?t mind if he made sense but he doesn?t, WTF does ?To fish is to learn patience? To learn patience is to fish? its complete gibberish.

yeah he was a bit over the top. Morb was thinking of slapping him to see if he talked straight, but then he ran into the secret room and tried to kill all 4 ghouls and the banelord alone. Was interesting to see. Aside from that he was ok.. I just nodded and pretended to understand.

I like it when people spout crazy gibberish about fish! But anyway, remember it's a full PvP server, if your charcters decide that the world would be better off without the loopy monk then you can always leave his corpse in the spittlefist cave

Nah he was ok. but If I am to roleplay my char as he is meant to be played then it would be a bit more like machiavelli suggested. He was benificial and cooperative, so I decided not to slap him down and tolerate him for the time being. the druid down there was on the end of her stringthough ..wouldn't have surprised me if she had whacked him or sicked her bear on him. Besides..he smacked himself down by running into the Ghouls all by himself while we were stuck behind the wall...so we just listened to his screams and remarked on stupid monks....

What I mean is, if people are playing within the rules then you have to accept that not all the characters you meet, you are going to like. That doesn't meant its bad RP, in fact its probably a good thing as who can say that that they like everyone they meet in real life?

More importantly I believe you shouldn't come to the boards to abuse someone who, by the sounds of it, was doing nothing wrong. If you want to go the IC forum and write a passage in your diary about how you met a crazy monk then that's a different story.

Nah ..I agree that bashing your monk is not necessary. Nor did I bash him either in game or verbally. In fact Morbiatus was quite on good terms with him and in my opinion still is. Although in game I agree if someone felt a crazy monk was uneccesary they could smack him down. I just meant a good slap might get him to talk straight.. not kill him. Oh Machievelli..all your characters speak gibberish

Guys please don't complain about other players on the forums, if you think they were doing something wrong then report it to a DM.

You better NOT be against it since this IS an RP server.

Remember, if I catch people not RP'ing or IC, then I remove them from the server. This isn't a levelling/hangout server, it is strict RP.

I hope you only messed up with that statement and I'm just paranoid, but statements like that worry me >_>
