Anyone else miss the awesome super uber dye system of NWN 1? I just hate that its gone... with it, i wouldnt have to worry about what armor i buy, all of them could be orange by a simple dye. I have no clue why nwn 2 didnt add that, im hoping some CEP comes with the dye system.

CEP can't do anything. There's nothing CEP can do that we can't. This is a hardcoded feature.

OMG I forgot about that. I loved that in 1, I could tap into my inner gay decorator.

It was specially fun when I had a weapon master all in black and red. Little did I realize I made almost the same color paterns of the royal gaurd. Everyone was thinking I was with them (that was a bad thing in this one) so I had to assure them I was just some guy that liked red n' black.

Basically you make changes and send me the erf, I review them and load them on your char. Replacing already owned items of course, and maybe a fee. Never worked out the details.

Lol, i have no clue how to do the crafting thing. I am horrible at map making and weapon making and what not >> Maybe ill try when the server wipes, turn a few swords into orange, gloves, boots, and armor.

Im pretty sure in the future there will be some easy way to change armor and such.

I wouldn't hold your breath for crafting. I'll be expecting crafting and mounts to be in the first expansion.

Remember that NWN1 had no in-game crafting until the second expansion, so don't fret. I'm sure more goodies will be coming.

Obviously some of you need to pay more attention to what modders can and have done to this game:
                          http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view...ed.Detail&id=2

Wahlah! One can tint colours of armours and clothing!
                          Hak's are sweet as.
It's not dye's for sure, but it's possible for new colours to be introduced into the server if they want to change colours on items that NPC's might sell.
There's a thin line between the definition of genius and insanity; I cross it all the time.

We are modders, and I know what can be done to the game. The question was about changing colours ingame, this is nothing more than a texture modification of clothing to allow more colours to be chosen in the toolset. Something I was already well aware of and knew was possible. This might be nice when we want some really specific customization, IE tinting specific parts of armor that didn't have tintable textures before... Beyond that, this hak doesn't do anything else.
