I can read.

I did not install MOTB.
I did not install any patches or NWN2 updates.
Last night my system worked fine and I played on Sundren with no difficulty.
This morning I tried to get on Sundren and it says the versions do not match.
I came up on the forum and hit "new posts" and found no new posts from last night or notices that you guys did anything different. I did not see anything different in Sundren General.

Hence, my question about versions not matching.

If you get that error, you aren't running the latest patch, run the NWN2 updater. We get this question all the time, and there are duplicates of it. If you search PATCH or VERSION there will be a number of posts discussing this same thing.

I understand now and will patch automatically; however, the last thing I read about the latest patch was it screwed everyone, so I was waiting until someone said it is OK to patch before I did.

Next time I will update first, then ask questions later.

The patch was pulled and later put back up just yesterday.

aye, the only way I knew about updating is when GBX said something about it in game.. but then again reading is fun-demental.. ooray!
