I am really into making ECL characters, but I see I need to make a backstory and get him approved, what is it your looking for in the backstory? I mean, how can I make a character approved?

Just looking for a summary, not to be confused with a 4 page narrative *Coughs*.

We're looking for feasibility (You really think the devil is going to spend his whole life revolving around you?), Sensibility (No, we're not approving 'Goth Lesbian Vampire Drow') and moderation (You could be the Son of Ao, but then what would all the other Sons of Ao think?).

Read FAQ, include Race, Alignment, Class, and possible stats.

Meh, If I never kept crashing after getting into character select I would apply for a Kobold.

Actually, now that I think of it, would they accept a non-evil kobold? I love playing exotic races (kobolds, orcs, illithids etc), but I never really play evil. I would like suggestions to monster races that can be non-evil PLEASE!

You can only play player races, ECL races require approval (drow, dreugar, deep gnomes, etc)

To throw it out there, and character that has a supernatural background, but is not an ECL character STILL needs DM approval. Learned this the hard way
