Notification of DM events?

Will the events always be initiated ad hoc or do you sometimes plan to give a notification beforehand?

It would also be nice if DMs PM'ed all Zhentarim people for instance and organized an event for them in a specific place and time.

I am sure there will constantly be little events that happen impromptu, but the major events will most likely be planned as per a storyline (a developers bible so to speak) and those you can be assured will be planned and advertised in advance... This is a roleplaying world though, and you can't expect to know the timing of everything before it happens

Another thing to keep in mind is that this is a beta and although we will be running events, regular large events will become more frequent when we have accomplished many of our goals.
