There are lots of people who arent using OOC: for ooc, or (( )) or () or even //. Theyre just blurting out ooc without showing it is ooc. oh, and people are also using smily faces and other faces in game, as an IC thing. We have ways to show Emotes people...

I'm sure a great many of us make mistakes on this situation. I myself often use smileys by accident or forget ((. We are, after all, people of the internet.
However, such shouldn't be done intentionally or argued about. It's fairly simple, try to remain in character as much as possible and use something to denote you're speaking OOC. I won't set a limit of what is too much OOC, but hopefully you can discern this for yourself.
