  • Will DM's support evil characters?

I am highly pleased with the setting and graphics that I have seen tonight! Bravo! I have not been able to do any DM events, got on to late, but if my character is a bit on the dark side will he/she still fit in this world?

    Thanks

In a word? Yes. Characters are free to express themselves within the boundries of the rules for the server (Which aren't very imposing). Evil characrters are welcome as much as good characters.

Even further on this issue, how will alignment shifts be handled in-game? Say my Lawful Neutral monk becomes tired of coddling the pitiful and angry at the freedom chaos has in the world and decides to take it head on as a zealot force of order? A building disregard for the methods taken to ensure order is maintained would shift him to evil at some point, but as a player, we can not make the change ourselves. Will submissions need to be sent in to the DMs for this or will it be handled as DMs see it happening in-game?

Alignment shifting we felt was something sensitive in the game that players should be in full control with. Thus alignment shifts will be done by DMs only. Your best bet would be to contact a DM, or through roleplay convey the change in your character and through narration illustrate the changes you're reflecting in your character.

Rest asssured Morpheus, since I myself loove evil characters, I can assure there wont be any lack of DM quests for evil characters at all. Not if I have a say about it.

Ok, I'll tell you what. I'll give you one gold for every door you open here in Undermountain.

Fighter Player: Hmmm..you got yourself a deal
