Two words can sum up what I'd like to see more of:

    Thrown. Weapons.

    Yes, please?!
    Don't run...you'll only die tired.

Something like this would be really awesome, especially with the GUI interface. What would be fun for mages would be a spellbook hanging off your belt, as well as some pouches and such.

Speaking of mages, some non-ridiculous look robes for them would be awesome. Even in singleplayer I kept the starting robes the whole way through just because I felt everything else looked so silly.

Could we get some robes reminiscent of NWN1 and Baldur's Gate? Even Harry Potter would be an improvement.

        Good good, keep it coming.

As for the hoods, there might be a chance there. On the vault there is already a pretty good model for it, albeit only for humans/tieflings/aasimars. If the author would complete the model for all genders/races, that could be implemented into the world.

As for thrown weapons, I would love to include javelins in that category. As soon as we start seeing some PC animations (now that granny is finally out) I can begin work on adding some of those. I will also look into creating more models for existing thrown weapons. Keep in mind that priorities are given to commonly used equipment, since this will be of benefit to a larger crowd.

Finally, regarding worn equipment such as armor parts and cloaks. These models require a specific adaptation to every different PC/NPC model. I just finished up the cloak of Umberlee. That required 10! different models to have it available across the board for everybody. So please keep in mind that some areas take much much more zots than others.

Maybe some hoods/masks for evil spellcasters like those:

The skull masks could also be used by evil warriors, berzerkers and blackguards.

As awesome as those are, I doubt they would get much PC use as anyone caught wearing them would probably be strung up by the good aligned folk of Sundren. They would be pretty cool on Dark Advent though.

I could see this style of hood being more popular amongst the more shady: http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view....Detail&id=170

Mainly because while people would be wary around folk wearing that stuff, they wouldn't outright attack them. Especially if we could tint them pure black, or with a slight deep red streak.

The hood Feydakin mentioned looks like one of my favorites though, and I can't wait for it to be finished.

Also, something that looked like the NWN1 default monk robes would be nice. Just robes that are ominous enough to frighten the masses, utilitarian enough for the weekend sacrifices to the dark gods of Faerun and yet stylish enough for your occasional gatherings of the damned.

You are right: wearing such a mask betrays your evil alignement. However, wearing mask is also useful to hide one's face (provided that there is no metagaming or a script that hides the name as you wear the mask).
An evil spellcaster can just pretend to be good or neutral until he wears his mask (like the mask of the thief leader in oblivion).

Mmm, a normal mask or hood can do too . Instead of scary looking ones, i don't see too much reason people would run around with that...

Hmm a bit bad that at least the official hoods don't cover the mouth ... Could be a cool addition ...

Yes, cloaks, armors, helmets, weapons. . . Okay so maybe a little of everything. I would love to see more of a variety of styles, colors, in regular equipment that can be bought at the shops. Sorry if I'm being greedy. :s

I just feel like we need a bit more customization if we had a large selection of stuff we can create a number of combinations that appeal to our characters in game and I'm sure that would satisfy everyones desire for custom gear rather having a DM hand them out one by one.

There was a server I played on that had a shop called the "Beautiful Adventurer" which sold basically a good variation of styles of regular armor, helms, shields, weapons and etc. Reserving some of course to keep options open for a unique design for other factions and important npc and pcs.

But I think it was kind of out of place if one of my character goes into a shop like that to get beautified. So I would like to recommend having a shop like that in an ooc area? :P Where we can purchase these regular "beautified" gear to appeal to everyones character.

But anyway! I think I would like better designed helms and armor the most :s

, as i said, we need beautiful dresses. Not just skimpy clothing. Helmets could use -alot- of work. The ones nwn2 gave us are pretty damn ugly. I'd love to see more circlets and the such for mages though, with better designs. (And no, not the funny ones which cover your whole head. yuck!)

would like to see less undead after nwn 1, the single player of nwn 2 and all the other games swarming with undead they are a bit over done.

A big pack of new models (and textures) is now ready for introduction. Among these you will find deity specific items (you can see some of them in the gallery), new weapons, cloaks, shields and placeables.

How about a mask akin to the symbol of the Diety of the same name?

My rogue aspires to embody the essence of Mask....having a piece of armor in a likeness of the symbol would make me happy on the inside.
