What would *you* like to see more of?

What equipment do you like? What equipment suits your character?

Roleplaying means that looks are as important as usability. Some characters project an image of crude strength, others a lithe dexterity. Some want the appearance of forgetful clutter.

Showing off your personality depends on having the right equipment.

So what do you want to see? An extra holy shield? A greataxe of surpassing evil?

If you want something specific that you cannot get from the standard appearances, tell me.

To get the ball rolling, I have added an image or two in the gallery of some new shields. What do you think about them? The better discussion you can get going here the better the chance that the item you want will find itself in a store near you (or in a random chest/monster). So get to discussing.

As a quick reminder, I am talking about 3d models here. Item properties are charming in their own way, but this discussion is regarding item models and their appearance.
While all parts that affect your appearance are important, please keep in mind that items usable by more classes will generally receive higher priority, as will items that have bigger impact on said appearance.
Example: Shields, weapons, helmets and cloaks all define your appearance strongly. Armor parts (bracers, leggings, boots etc) affect your appearance moderately. Gloves and similar have almost no impact at all. Rings and amulets do not affect your appearance at all, and do in fact not have 3d models in the game.

I'd love to see more clothing, and leather armor ^_^. Ooh, and deity related things...Deity related trinkets n cloaks maybe? And about the clothing part, i'd love to see gowns n dresses n more of that stuff. Most of the stuff on the vault already has the skimpy stuff ^_-.

Personally I'm actually into the way things look. (For instance I love the robes some of the NPC's wear), and I'm always oogling over some of the deisigns I see in the PnP books (Anyone read the latest magic item book released?)

That being said, I miss the 'abilities' that the standard game had. (Nymph cloaks, belts of giant strength, rings of regeneration. Weapons and are armour that are not only enchanted, but confer other abilities or uses as well.) In other words don't try to fix what wasn't exactly broken in the first place.

Having said that, I love new designs, and more original ideas added on to the afroe-mentioned already available items. Things th are also allignment and class restrictive are helpful, so that we don't go seeing an evil player equiping holy items to Tyr or the like, and vice versa.
Make the requirements fit the useage, for when you're making these things.
Unless of course it's just a general item not directed towards a speicific goal and/or diety. Then I say the sky's the limit.

Ah, all right, got that part about "looks" n stuff. Well, if your talking about things and looks, i'd simply love to see armor n stuff that reflects classes. Like fiendish or spooky things for the warlocks, holy shiney plate armor for pallys, dark armor for blackgaurds n yeah.. The list goes on.

That is some cool support to the game. Makes me wanna do a request, too. I didn't found Bandanas so far. Would be cool to get some in different colors. Of course only if possible and maybe they are already in but I didn't found one so far.

I would love some proper hood, as well as face concealing ones. I also tend to think the cloaks seem a little short, even the long ones. And they could look a little more..cloakish.

A cape would also be awesome.

Other than that..I know you can get different boots, and they change, but do they just change textures, or can you get different foot models for them?

If you can change them, maybe gloves that have a hook on one hand.

Is it also possible to add proper beards to the models? Like Gandalf sized ones?

One of my characters, in particular, would have a great desire for the lower-face covering of a scarf - much in the style of Raziel from the Legacy of Kain stories. Or, something in the vein of a high-rising, partially obscuring cloak - something to keep the neck buffered from the wind, make seeing one's lips in motion difficult, and still being stylish and useful.

That aside, I'd love to see a great deal of diversity in the weapons and armor/shield types. Looking at the models above, I instantly gave attributes and potential purposes to each: the first striking me as barbaric in origin, the second seeming of drow intent, and the last obviously orc-inspired.

I'd love to see a wide variety of apparent craftsmanship appearance - thin and nimble elven craft, tough and boxy dwarven styles, sweeping and inventive human touches, crude and savage orcish, etc. And specificly crafted items for so-called 'boss monsters' would make them even more unique.

I really respect how the defining art affects the character/monster model. And, from this standpoint, it looks like we'll have it in good hands.

Somthing I would like are books and or scrolls(rolled or unrolled). These can be the books Vera is often reading, a mage's scrolls, holybooks (or unholy) and the like.
Food items that can be held (leg of meat or what not) would also be neat.
Almost all the cloaks look alike so that may be nice for veriaty.

Other things to think about:
Maybe some sort of eyewear (glasses gogles) would be neat for the sake of having it.
Adding rusty or lesser quality looking versions of the metal armors.

I have a personal weakness for cloaks. Having some cloaks cheap enough for new characters to buy would be nice, as would be having them in different shades and styles.

As well, curved weapons such as the "elven" ones look really cool, as do ones based on more practical weapon designs.

Fuzzy things, such as furs, would be great.

Great idea, eyewear could rock as would be bandanas but I mentioned that before.
