Duergar are in the same boat as Drow, especially when dealing with other dwarves.
Svirfneblin are basically dark-skinned gnomes that no-one has heard much about. I mean, really - what have they done that makes people think "That's a Svirfneblin! GET IT!"
On an aside: if Teiflings aren't being chased out of areas simply for being 1/16th fiend/evil outsider... "You are wrong."

Most people that i've met are simply nervous around tieflings but we aren't going to chase it out. It still has human blood and a chance to redeem itself. As Tamara said
Tieflings aren't just chased off for being part demon. I see tieflings being trusted/distrusted more on a per person basis and probably negatively as a whole.
People also forget Aasimar are distrusted and a social stigma too. It's not like the world goes "Hey, you're part good guy! We'll trust you!" Only players do that because they know too much, general people don't know much about anything.
"Well, you kind of look Human, but you have horns... are you a tiefling? I don't know, I guess I can trust you..."
Well, more often than not, since Aasimar have no distinguishing marks (aside from being charismatic, beautiful, and generally pleasant to be around), few tell them apart from normal, albiet impressive, humans. They can seem aloof, condescending, and downright mystical, though, and that leads to some stigma and possible distancing. An Aasimar is definitely in an entirely different catagory than a tiefling.
I'd like to point out that GodBeast was actually correct in his point that aasimar are actually discriminated against as much (or almost so) as tieflings, since at least -one- ancestral trait always identifies them as glaringly different than normal humans. Refer to my post in the Offtopic thread for more details.
