help me with patching please!

I have been trying to patch my game to no ends... never succeeded!
I have tried using the way from the official nwn2 forum, I have asked around, but nothing is working... I think my game is cursed... should I get a new copy? or do you guys have any other ideas?

but it still didn't work... anyone else have trouble patching your game?

I always have trouble, make sure you have like 10 Gigs free or more possibly, also try to find the offline patch.

I have 18gb as of right now, and it still wont patch... I am gonna burn this stupid game soon!!!!! been trying to patch this stupid thing for like 2 hours! this is seriously annoying

I know how you feel...believe me.
Whe you download the patch file go to the Temp folder and copy it to your main game folder so that it won't need to download all the time. There are some unofficial updaters that work sometimes I'll try to find some to help you.

You might have some bad memory causing the problem, ran a memory checking program finding out I had some bad memory, took out the stick and the patch installed fine. I was able put the stick back in since it worked for everything else I used but updating NWN, but the last few patches I haven't had to do that with.

Have you tried re-installing the game then patching? I had some problems with patches as well. I believe i re-installed and it was fine.

Also, contrary to what many seem to believe, Vista is not always up to the task of running a game. I know of at least a few cases of Vista fucking up bad.
