I recently got back to NWN 2, since I finally got a new computer that can actually run the game (smoothly). I used
to play in Sundren, and it was definitely the best NWN 2 multiplayer experience I had. I only learned that Sundren
had been taken down for a while after I came back, and I'm glad it's back too. Now the only downside I've noticed
is that the number of players is down considerably. Sundren is among the best, if not the best developed PW out
there for NWN 2 and it's a real shame to see it go to waste right now. I know it might not be the best of times to
concentrate on PR while Saulus is on vacation and there's still other stuff being developed, but I'd really like to
hear the developers' plans for increasing the player turnout, just to put my fears to rest.
    The rich and the poor
We are all the same in death
    The unmistakable fragrance
    Of rigid decomposition
    Exacts no distinction

Aye, soon more DMs will come, and it'll definetely be more fun. And the programming GBX does is genius, its sure to attract loads ofp eople. Ive noticed from the usual 2 or 3 ppl on, it goes to 6 or 7. So thats a start, right? almost Everyone has the same opinion, "Oh, theres not much players, no point logging in", but if yah log in for a while more ppl will come seeing as theres more players.

I also think that the password may scare people off, though it prevents immature and unserious players.

numbers will pick up again. But for me it's summer time, I love in northern alberta, so you make the most of the non -40 celcius weather. That and RL projects are monopolizing way too much time. Come colder weather, I personally will likely make more time to play. But we can always try to get sundren on top of the "top persistent worlds" list on the vault again.

For everyone I talk to who are not playing, they feel NWN2 is pure shit for gameplay. They tried it, enjoyed it for a time, got fed up, and left the game entirely.

Honestly, there's tons of players, when I sit on as DM I see them pop in then pop out. That's what they do. If people stayed 20 - 30 minutes, there'd probably be 20 people on at any point. It's like people are looking for someone in particular.

I think the issue is progression is slow right now for established characters, and lowbies feel lonely.

Heh, alot of us do look for some people in particular. People that used to be in the old Sundren, as they aren't the ones who're going to be in sharahan hills most of the time. Its really annoying when i log in, and find out everyone is in a place full of monsters and im sitting around in the crossroads.

I think another problem is people log on and then because there are no others they stay for a while, maybe go and kill some things but realise they don't getting for doing it and get bored.

For me, I log off soon because there aren't any people to RP with, but also I have been trying to level up for a while and am getting 2XP for a 200XP kill so I just get bored of doing the same thing with no reward, making me log off.

In the PR department; We'll be doing some contets at some point, and we're very much willing to credit those who pull players to the server. Remember to make all your friends use the "Referrer" field in the account creation process

Wait... theres only 2 or 3 people on at any one time? Is that what I saw written?
