We have our chars and all, but after Sundrens owner switched temporarily, alot of things happened, and important stuff involving a great threat against Sundren. Do we simply ignore all that and pretend it didn't happen, and go back to when Sundren was in Saulus' control? And im not quite sure what exactly sure when everything happened and when Saulus was around. Like, the necropolis area looks fine. I believe the Temple of Kelmevor is back up, but i haven't went inside yet. Do we pretend it didn't get burnt to the ground?

I've, for the time being, made up a suitably vague chain of events that preserves the continuity between the last things happening in Sundren and New Sundren. However, I suspect that we'll simply have to wait for final details from Saulus and TheId.
I imagine a little retconning of our characters' stories might be necessary, but ah well -- 'tis the way it goes.Adama who was once called Adama Hrakness, sacred paw of Mielikki
Lihana Farrier, Paladin of Torm and noble dalliance
On Hold: Alandriel Ward, Actually a Vampire Groupie
Retired for Good: Tamryn Jorandur, Hano's Wife and Conflicted Soul

As long as your RP is going to let the player know well in advance they may be engaged in PvP combat. The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

I just wonder why even non-evil ones should be hunted down if they don't wish to interfere or are just good natured. Doesn't that prove others just like the evil drows? Both sides as bad as another? The fact you just don't like one doesn't mean you have to kill that one without any other reason. But yeah, those who wish to bear a burden to be either good or evil and wish to fight each other, even slaughter, should be free to do so. I just don't think the fact you are permited to try put dead everyone just because of their race. Well some races are natural enemies but nothing can be solved by mere kos-thing. Matter should be more dedicated to an alignment and one's behavior not just a race.
True things like that are almost inpossible to include in guards' ai but I'm sure it would add more depth to roleplaying between players. You can most scertainly notice when someone is trying attack and therefore are justified to defend youreslf. But things like stabbing one's back, if wanted, would be much more interesting. You never know when someone is either leading you to your grave or just being nice and polite.
Don't know why I wrote this and don't even want to know how many typos I managed to put in this text..
Oh, yes. I just wanted to say that I don't think mere KoS for Drows is good enough but I'm just an occassional player so I'm willing to go on with anything you deside to do with this matter.
EDIT: Incase you didn't notice I edited this text quite much, so it's easier to read.~ The puppetmaster of Xilphia Redclaw & Thyral Hammerhand ~

Drows are evil. People "accepting them" is not how the Realms works. This is FR, people hate and fear the drow.
In fact, as I write this, I am finishing setting up the drow's faction setup so all guards are hostile to them, so things will work how they should be. Drow will also spawn in the underdark again. The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Yeah that is uderstandable. Too bad there isn't a way to somehow gain your trust with other factions or be hated by drows too (even you are a drow yourself). Heh will be funny when drows, almost, like my char are friendly with him when they should despise him, as should all those anti-drow people and monsters do too. So is it possible to somehow feel more like loner, an outcast who has no place to go? I can always avoid Drows but no fun with that if there is no action when I eventualy come a cross some of them. I think I'm askin a way too much though. ^^'~ The puppetmaster of Xilphia Redclaw & Thyral Hammerhand ~

I just want you to know that tolerance is bullshit. Suck it up, and be the hateful, spiteful creatures that you are. Humans are bigotistic and racist to other humans of other skin color and creeds. Elves, dwarves, drow... they aren't even remotely human, physiologically and psychologically. Elves are elitist and haughty. Dwarves are stern and reclusive. Halflings are notorious for thievery and scoundrelism. Gnomes are insane. All manner of dark-skinned, underdark-dwelling races are thoroughly evil and corrupt. It's part of the world, and your characters should NOT blissfully be ignorant and tolerant simply because modern society is.Originally posted by Saulus View PostDrows are evil.
