There's nothing as good as the source.

Despite being in the military and only being capable to log on weekends I would like to show my support. I've been playing Sundren for a long time, since it' been out basicly, and have never strayed from it. Now that it's back - So am I.

A lot of us did not like what went down in June and the old staff's actions. With this comeback we let our voice be heard.

I wish you all the luck in the world and I more than welcome the return of NWN's #1 mod.

    Welcome back, Sundren

You almost make my eyes water. Thank you for your support. We will, off course, still be doing out very best

I appreciate the kind words. It's good to know there are people dedicated to our community.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

It's really a pleasant surprise to see that Sundren is alive and kicking. As my favorite PW I am definitely on board for whatever lies in the future.

As much as I agree with Ben, let us move forward and make Sundren even better than before.

Hi all, just wanted to make a short statement.

This time I will put performance in focus while making maps. From what I have heard performance issues killed the fun for alot of players a few months ago. I will do my part to keep detail low while still bringing you stunning areas to explore.

Well, when the Quest are done you will have the option of experiencing Sundren from a solo perspective, although we strongly advise you to join a group.

We will also do our best to add history into the server which you can learn from speaking to varies NPCs. This will also enhance the solo experience, should you have a day where you only wan't to explore Sundren without any "outgoing" effort, take a stroll through Avanthyr and chat with the locals.

                        Bronx!

I'f just like to add my voice to the chorus welcoming the return of Sundren! The previous happenings were of a most uncool nature, and I'd just like to voice my support for all the devs who've returned to the project!

And a big shout out to all the familiar faces above.

I'd like to add my opinion to this little discussion. I'm glad to see how... er, supportive, I guess, everyone is of the prior server's return. I'd like to say that I'm glad to see Xeraph and Rhazeal still in good spirits. However, I was under the impression that the seperation of Sundren's development team was a creative and personal difference between members of the staff, with TheId supporting the temporary break away that GBX performed... up until he and the others decided they didn't like the FR setting and went another direction completely.

What was so 'uncool' about that situation, as such things are bound to happen: people have different ideas, and ways to impliment them. The only thing I could see as not living up to expectations would be the seperation of the team with the intent of continuing the world, and then dropping it. Honestly, I don't care about the ideological differences of the staff, or who runs the world(s), as long as the team produces quality results, and are enjoyable to talk and roleplay with. As I like GBX, Echelon, Kaither, and several others of the dev team for Venoshia, I'll be playing that. That also won't stop me from stopping by Sundren's server to see how the Devs and moderators of the project are maintaining the world and gameplay.

Yeah, yeah. Call me a 'traitor', if you want. I don't give a damn. I came to play a game, with people I like no less. I don't care for social drama, and I won't let it bother what games I play and how I play them. I just wish all you kids would play nice, and give everyone a chance.

Eirimil Gaelazair (Dead)- Bitter. Caustic. Abrasive. Egocentric. Probably right. Found dead in the burned-out Viridale forest a few weeks after the survivors were able to sweep the area after the Bloodmaim offensive. Aside from his usual attire, an intricate music box was the only thing in his possession.

This is not a case of chosing sides. Sundren and Venoshia are two different projects with two different goals. They are not the competition nor the rivals.

Actually GBX has been very helpful in making this happen.

We welcome all to come and play on Sundren... as long as you follow the rules ofcourse.

Xeraph, I'm would not be so quick to judge maps for lagging issues. I have notice the same effect on NWN 1 servers as well as NNW 2 servers. The more scripts you have the more things tend to lag.

That said, some of us have also noticed that the use of keyboards to move over long distances GREATLY contributes to LAG. So, the best way to reduce lag, lay off using the keys to move your characters and use the tools to walk through areas instead of RUNNING.
