  • nwn2 1.23 ???

hey guys, I had to do a total reinstall to one of my PC's. I am still using all 3 original disk for the game.....

    1. NWN auto uploader is no longer working ( lol )

    2. can anyone point me in the right direction to get the up to date patch?

    3. due to the age of the disk set, do you think they are now a collectors item and worth a fortune with the original CD keys? (lol)

edit: holy shit something awesome is happening with the auto downloader.... stand by.

edit 2: disregard the auto downloader is toast.

sorry to bump this again, but I am having trouble ( unless I'm blind ) finding my current version 1.020 to 1.23.. it is the basic 3 disk install ( individual nwn2, MoB, SoZ).

It looks like you have to go down to the bottom of xp2 then install each of them in order from the bottom to the top.

I got the patches and an off-line updater on my HD. Not sure what patches you want, but I'm kinda sure I've got an english version, so maybe I can set you up? PM me if you're in a thight spot

The offline updater is actually faster to use than the old auto-updater.

once again, sorry folks.... I must be having a touch of amish... if these are executable files, I am at a loss. if I have to download them, do I have to just place them in the patch folder?

agggghhhh I feel so old lol.

                  Download this, read instructions

This should convert the rtp files (After you unzip the ones you downloaded to the previous files) into your new NWN2 patches automatically.

Let me know if you have luck.

I tried to build a XP guest and install NWN2 on it but part-way through the installations it stopped loading (I have original disks).

Does anyone know if the updates afect the registry? or just replace binaries and update config files? Basically can one perform the installs via disk then copy over the install directory with a the files form another system.

Right now my guests are 40GB and would like to bring them down to 20GB (stupid OS)

Yes you can. Once it is transferred over you just run the updater and it should fix the registry issues.
