  • The Jumpstart Initiative

No, not a electronic educational program.

So, given the general interest, I figured I might start up a thread to discuss character ideas, motivations, that sorta thing. As has been mentioned in one of the other threads, we probably want to arrange a time to actually pop up, but that could be handled in a dedicated thread to remain on-topic here.

So, I've got a few ideas floating around for a character, but probably the one I would prefer to work on is a Halarrahn witchhunter.

What about other people? Keep in mind that chars not reliant on factions are preferable with the current situation.

Crafting changes are a dead-horse topic, but feel free to ask me about crafting: If I can't answer it, I bet I can direct you to someone who can.

I've been wanting to roll a Barbarian, I've been juggling whether she'd be Tempuran or one of the furies. Barbarian from a tribe north of Aquor without much political motivation other then to wander and live between Aquor and the Whurst dwarves, wiling to fight by etiher's side, which would sufficiently detach her from any of the existing factions.

I am interested in doing either a rogue or warlock. If a rogue then I would do a sneak for hire sort of story. If I did Warlock I would do an agent of a Devil, out hunting its enemies. Obviously this could be fleshed out more on both ends. The truth is that I am open and eager to RP with you guys.

I started leveling my Barbarian for funzies, so I'll probably be on a bit more for a couple days.

Well I've already done the Wizard and an Assassin. I'd probably do a pure cleric. Probably to a neutral deity. I've never played on so that would be the challenge for me.

Would roll up a ranger, not the standard archer but more a tank type.

I've had an idea for a ranger, another assassin , an arcane archer, and another blackguardy sort. Could do any of them, as soon as I've got a decent build idea for them.

EDIT: also had an idea for a more inquisitor like character, in the sort of style of the Pathfinder class.
We can axe if we want to, leave that sword behind. Because your friends don't axe, and if they don't axe then they're no friends of mine.
