First of all I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. If you don't celebrate the holidays then I want to wish you all the best life can give and much happiness.

Wow, in a few weeks I will have been a small part of Sundren for 5 years.
I started off playing a half elf rogue named Talon Fensbane in the old Kurz Cartel. I played a few other PC's but for the biggest part of the time I've played Dante Swift.

I just wanted to say that it has been a pleasure being a part of the wonders of Sundren. Thank you to all the staff for what you do. You keep the lights on and Sundren going. Also I want to thank the players. Man, there are so many of you who have been part of one of my favorite things to do in my spare time. I'm not going to name any names because I would forget someone and I don't want enyone to feel left out. Suffice it to say that if you have ever RP'd with Talon, Noric, Austin, Kali (or Kari I keep forgetting which one of the twins is mine and which one belongs to Kit) or Dante then you are who I am talking about. You all are a great bunch of people and you have my heartfelt thanks and respect.

I hope that the next five years are just as much fun. I believe they will be. Sundren is too good for us to just let it fade away. Its an old engine that keeps getting rebuilt by good people that have way more computer knowledge than I have, for that they are owed a lot of Thank You's from the payer base.

It may sound corny but in some ways you guys are like family. I love all of ya.. See you all in game.
Danté Swift: Archmagus and Marshal of Sestra.

Internet computer game family is completely legit. I'd have an ale, goblet of wine or glass of chocolate milk depending on what was appropriate with each of you.
      Cheers and Merry Christmas

I've said this a couple times to some people server-side, but Sundren is now less of just a place I visit to hang out, and more of a home-away-from-home for me, and as Memnoch has said, you guys are like family. So, my friends here on Sundren, Thank You for all the good times, have a happy holiday, a fantastic new year, and hopefully many more years filled with great RP in the future.

I'll see you all server side.
We can axe if we want to, leave that sword behind. Because your friends don't axe, and if they don't axe then they're no friends of mine.

It's very gratifying to have started something that has a special meaning to many people, different ages, different walks of life etc. The inspiration and support has given me the confidence to pursue even greater aspirations.

I hope Sundren can one day evolve into something greater, but only time will tell.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

I'll happily raise my mug of hot-chocolate to comment that you guys are all awesome people, which is why most days, even if I'm not hanging out RPing with you guys, NWN2 gets to be my overqualified chat-client for hanging out in the evenings.

Its been exceedingly memorable during my participation here of both the community and the individuals. From sharing triumphs and tribulations in-game, to offering virtual shoulders and support to players themselves, to having 10-hour events that leave players napping at their keyboards, I am grateful to be a part of the online community that is Sundren. I can honestly say that the comradely of the server is higher than every unit I've ever been stationed with, and for that,
I raise my mug to you all.

              Carpe Noctem, my friends,
May your days off be most enjoyable!

I ate a little too much. Drank a little too much. Had a good time with my family, though I had my kids only for Christmas Eve. Fun was had by all.

                        Online family definitely counts.
