I'd say a bitch, this noon I felt like playing again ( and I had the time, z0mgz0r ). So well, let's fire up nwn ! CD in, double click shortcut, go go powercrashes. All my graphics where totally ruined, the screen kept flickering, and after a while I couldn't even see what the hell there was going on on my screen. Like one of those flurry icecreams you give to little kids because the colors are all LSD funky and they love that.

...n unfinished product that we can only hope Obsidian actually gives some proper multiplayer love.
Obsidian is talking the talk. They claim that multiplayer is important to them, that persistent worlds matter. I've yet to see any real proof in the support we've been getting, apart from Rob dropping by to check out transition crashes.
I'm patient, I manage - however MP is unstable and PWs are struggling, and regardless of the claims to the contrary, players sticking with it IS declining.
The expansion MAY reinforce the PW audience, but not if we still don't have any real improvement with MP when it arrives.Mapper and Mad Kitten
Currently playing:
Lill Moonberry - Halfling Bard who knows the Hills are Alive with the Sound of angry goblins

Yeah the lack of support Obsidion is giving MP is pissing me off. Multiplayer I think is one of the primary draws of NWN2, Obsidion should show a little care.
I've noticed people are playing less do to the crashing, and I wish Obsidion would just try and fix it.Jaggath Tharn, Better Than Sex.
Lenier Miloan, Totally a Tormtar.

To be honest, I wish everyone had stuck to the original. It's getting more and more difficult for me to play because I keep adding top-of-the-line hardware improvements... and I crash more regularly with the latest and most updated drivers. I feel like I'm spending way too much money on a game that simply needs a single patch for its multiplayer; I still crash every other area transition. I mean... seriously. It's not funny, nor is it fun.

... fun role playing experience.
I think I've been quite lucky with this game, the only time it crashes is when I quit to the desktop! The machines just over three years old too, so perhaps the way forward with NWN2 is to step backwards? >_>Current characters:
Joehaen Cartwheel - Human Fighter (3)
Minnoko - Wood Elf Ranger (3)
Shodan - Half-Elf Wizard (Necromancer) (3)
Aidan Phaile - Human Warlock (3)

frustration.
I crash more than ever, and the lag makes this game unplayable often times. I actually started playing a single player mod I downloaded from the vault just to avoid the crashing and the lag.
The number of people playing multiplayer on NWN I vs. II is enlightening on current problems with II. They do need to fix it, and quick, or people will return to playing I in bigger numbers. I'll stick with it though - the potential is huge.sigpic

What Poor_Otis said is strikingly true. I know various old servers on Neverwinter Nights that have been reopened by friends that are now prospering -- Obsidian is going to dump its player base and with it any prospects of an expansion.
To those that don't crash often, be very happy. I've tried my best to get this thing working smoothly and it just doesn't function like it should.
It's not a bad game even, which is the sad part.
