I was banned not for breaking any rules but rather for speaking my honest opinion about the server. And because my honest opinion wasn't kissing ass (as most people on this forum do), the devs decided to ban me. In short, if you can't take the criticism, leave the industry.

I am sorry to hear you were banned. Your statement, "And because my honest opinion wasn't kissing ass (as most people on this forum do),..." is indicative of your communication style which could be decribed as lacking tact. Brutally honest only goes so far then it becomes insulting and irritating. Your statement, "In short, if you can't take the criticism, leave the industry" is a bit harsh and further indicitive of your overall attitude which seems to be confrontational. Ultimately, without proper moderation, these qualities may get you kicked out of the sandbox.

I did not see your post(s), however if one wants change one must use tact. Constructive criticism is much better than just criticism but it must be delivered in a manner that is not so offensive to the recipient. This is not public domain where public servants are forced to simply take the criticism and respond in a particularly servile manner. This is private domain where WE are guests and are expected to act as such. Failure to act properly may result in the revocation of the priviledge to enjoy this server. Keep in mind, righteousness and other forceful strategies may be a means to justify the end, but if the end is you being banned then I think not.
